Please join me in congratulating Dr. Shanaysha Sauls, President and CEO at the Baltimore Community Foundation, on being named one of the Power 10 CEOs by the Baltimore Business Journal! The Baltimore Community Foundation is a very active BDEC Member, and Dr. Sauls has been unwavering in her commitment to closing the digital divide in our City. Behind her calm, is a sense of urgency to increase high-speed Internet access for Baltimoreans, especially for our students and older adults.

I have known Shanaysha for a long time now. Whether as Chair of the Baltimore City School Board, Head of the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, or now as President and CEO at the Baltimore Community Foundation — she is laser-focused on the work of improving lives and she trusts & values her staff. In my eyes, that is what makes her a Power 10 CEO!
